Photographer known for his images of celebrities like Adele , Keith Richards , George Clooney and Madonna . He appeared on television shows like RTL Boulevard and Het Perfecte Plaatje. He has earned more than 220,000 followers on his williamrutten Instagram account.
At 12, he discovered that photography was his great passion.
He conducted a series of lectures called Focus, in which he shared anecdotes and stories.
He was married to television host and singer Nance Coolen.
In May 2023, he photographed Sam Smith performing at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome.
