ABOUT WILLIE JOHNSON

NFL wide receiver that was originally signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2022. Prior to his NFL career, he played college football at Marshall University .

He was considered a four-star prospect while at South Fort Myers High School. While in high school, he played receiver, running back and kick returner. Coming out of high school, he had offers from a handful of top Division I programs.

He surpassed the 1,000 yard receiving mark during his 2020 collegiate season. That was the first and only time he surpassed the 1,000 yard mark during his NCAA career. As a receiver, he has been known for his speed.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Fort Myers, Florida.

He is a former Marshall collegiate athlete just like Byron Leftwich and Chad Pennington .
