ABOUT WILSON CHANDLER

NBA forward who broke into the league with the New York Knicks in 2007; traded to the Denver Nuggets in a 2011 blockbuster deal that sent Carmelo Anthony to New York.

He played 2 seasons of college basketball at DePaul before declaring for the 2007 NBA Draft.

He was named Michigan's Mr. Basketball in 2005, playing for Benton Harbor High School.

He was born to Wilson Chandler and Marie Thomas.

In 2011, he began playing on the Denver Nuggets alongside point guard Ty Lawson .
