ABOUT XAVIER MUNFORD

International point guard that has played professionally in countries such as Israel, Australia, Turkey, China, Spain and the United States. In the year of 2017, he won a gold medal with Team USA during the FIBA AmeriCup tournament in Argentina. While playing with the Charlotte Hornets ' G-League affiliate team, the Greensboro Swarm, was named NBA G-League All-Star in 2016.

He initially began his college basketball career at Miami-Dade Community College and Iowa Western Community College. As a junior, he then transferred to the University of Rhode Island .

While playing with the Memphis Grizzlies during the 2016 NBA regular season, he was given a chance to make his official NBA debut on March 17, 2016. Unfortunately, he and his team lost to the Milwaukee Bucks 96-86.

He grew up living with his family in the Hillside, New Jersey area. He is the oldest of two brothers.

He credits Carmelo Anthony as a being one of his favorite athletes growing up.
