Korean-American singer-songwriter who made his debut in 1991 with the release of a song called "Rebecca." He has released three albums in Korea between 1991 and 2001. He eventually retired from the music industry.
He studied at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, but he dropped out to pursue music full-time.
After achieving success, he decided to leave his job at a restaurant to pursue music full time.
He was born in Saigon. He immigrated to the United States with his family when he was 9 years old and grew up in Los Angeles. He and his wife welcomed a son in 2015.
