Yann Ekra
ABOUT YANN EKRA
Professional soccer player who rose to fame for his strong performance with the Harrisburg City Islanders. He went on to play for Charlotte Independence and the Tampa Bay Rowdies. At the international level, he has played for France's national youth teams.
He joined the youth ranks of Lyon at the age of 12. He played on the U17 team that won the Disney Soccer Showcase in 2005.
He represented the Harrisburg City Islanders in a number of U.S. Open Cup games. He has played as a striker, a second striker, and a winger. He first performed at an open try out with the Harrisburg City Islanders while visiting in-laws in Washington D.C. in 2012.
His wife and daughters have been featured on his yannekra Instagram account.
He and Leo Fernandes have played as teammates for the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
