ABOUT YANN GAEL
Award-winning French-Cameroonian actor who starred in the Netflix series Sakho & Mangane. He made his on-screen acting debut with a minor role in the 2010 film, D'amour et d'eau fraîche. His first starring role in a television series came in 2014, when he portrayed Sébastien Le Tallec in the crime drama show, Duel au soleil.
He studied at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts in Paris.
He was named Best Male Actor at the 2017 Festival Du Film De La Rochelle for his performance in The French Dream. That same year, he was named Best Actor at FestiFrance Brasil for his performance in Et toujours nous marcherons. Throughout the course of his acting career, he has been nominated for a handful of Best Actor awards, by multiple film festivals and organizations.
He is from Garoua, Cameroon.
He worked alongside Elena Sofia Ricci on the cast of the 2018 biographical drama film Loro.
