ABOUT YEO-JIN KIM

Television and film actress known primarily for her role as Soon in the film Girls' Night Out. She won the award for Best New Actress at the 19th annual Blue Dragon Film Awards in 1998.

She began her professional acting career in 1995 as a member of the South Korean stage play What Do Women Live For.

Along with her passion for acting, she is also involved in social activism. She was banned by the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation or "MBC" in 2011 because she was considered "too progressive."

Her husband, Kim Jin-min, is a South Korean film director. They meet in 2003 on the set of Forever Love and got married one year later.

She helped with the political campaign of Moon Jae-in in 2015.
