He released a "NASDAQ" remix with Moneybagg Yo . He took his rap name from his father and the aspirational acronym "Young, Flashy, Lifestyle."

He began rapping at age five after being influenced by Lil Wayne .

He was signed to Def Jam Recordings in the year 2018. He has served multiple stints in jail.

His father was shot to death when he was five years old. His younger brother has also served time in jail. In June of 2016, he welcomed a son.
