ABOUT YOAN LóPEZ

Professional pitcher that was first signed by the Arizona Diamondbacks as an international free agent in 2014. He was later acquired by the New York Mets via waizers in November 2021. He has also pitched in the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies farm systems.

After signing with the Diamondbacks in 2014, he was originally sent to the AZL Diamondbacks. He was later sent to the Mobile BayBears.

He is also known by his nickname "El Asere." He also once played for the Piratas de la Isla baseball team in the Cuban National Series. After finishing his career in the Cuban National Series, he was highly sought after by numerous clubs in the MLB.

He grew up living with his family in Nueva Gerona, Cuba. He now has a daughter named Maylin.

He is a huge music fanatic. In fact, he credits Farruko as being one of his favorite musical artists.
