Indian wrestler and content creator who has amassed over 290,000 followers on Instagram. On his social media, he posts about his life post-wrestling, speaking to youth about his experiences and participating in forums around the world.

He grew up in a remote village, Bhainswal Kalan, in India. His dad was a farmer and his mom a homemaker, and he was drawn to wrestling from a young age due to his village's tradition of partaking in the sport, which he did around age 8. He gained international fame for his success in the sport, especially his Olympic win.

He founded a charity that helps underprivileged athletes participate in sporting events. He is one of three Indian wrestlers to win a medal in the Olympics, winning the bronze medal in 2012. The Indian government awarded him the Padma Shri in 2013. He won gold medals at the 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games. He is a vegetarian.

He is married to Sheetal Tomar.
