American singer also known by the nickname "La Potranquita." She is well respected for her performance of banda music. Her albums include Con la Banda Costa Grande and Te Sigo Amando.

She won a Los Angeles music contest when she was eleven, which allowed her to record her first album.

She volunteered for the "Got Milk" campaign in 2006 in the hope of being a healthy role model for Latin American women.

Her parents and grandparents were also involved in banda music.

She was signed to Fonovisa Records, the label that also signed singer Thalia .
