ABOUT YOSVER ZULUETA

Right-handed pitcher that was first signed by the Toronto Blue Jays in 2019. A few years later, he was named the Blue Jays' fifth best MLB prospect in 2022.

He initially began his professional career playing for the DSL Blue Jays. Unfortunately, his rookie season was cut short due to him undergoing surgery.

He struck out a career-high 84 batters in just over 55 innings pitched during the 2022 minor league season. He also allowed an .199 opponent batting average. Throughout the course of his playing career, he has played for a handful of different teams, from both the minors and foreign baseball leagues.

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Remedios, Cuba area.

He shares a January 23rd birthday with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Arjen Robben .
