ABOUT YOUNG KAII

Rapper who became a sensation in East Coast and LGBTQ hip-hop with a series of mixtapes, including The Gossip Vol. 1 and 2. Some of her most popular tracks include "Careless," "Fantasy Girl" and "Hey Pretty Lady."

She grew up in Providence, Rhode Island. She wrote her first verse at age 14 and originally performed under the name K Star.

She has been interviewed and performed live on the radio show Could Be TV. In 2012, she released her first album, This Is Love.

Her parents are from the Dominican Republic. She has brothers.

She rapped on a remix of TeeFlii 's "24 Hours."
