ABOUT YOUSSEF KHATER
Danish-born Lebanese criminal who is known for being a serial fraudster and attempted murderer. In 2012, he was convicted of attempted murder and fraud in Chile but only served a little under two years in prison. In 2017, he was convicted of fraud in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Costa Rica but was again quickly released.
Prior to becoming a career criminal, he served ten years in the Royal Danish Navy.
An episode of the Netflix documentary series Worst Roommate Ever covered his lengthy history of crimes.
His family cut off contact with him due to his criminal activity.
Netflix has produced other similar documentary true crime series such as Trial by Media, which was produced by George Clooney .
