ABOUT YOUSSOUF FOFANA

Professional central midfielder that signed his first club contract with RC Strasbourg Alsace in 2018. A few years later, he joined AS Monaco in January 2020. He has also played for the French men's national team during his career.

He first began playing soccer as a kid for Espérance Paris at the age of six. He then joined the Red Star Football as teenager.

He played for Team France during the 2022 World Cup. He and his team lost to Argentina during the championship match. Throughout the course of his career, he has scored more than half a dozen goals.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Paris, France. He was born of Malian descent.

He played alongside Hugo Lloris as a member of France during the 2022 World Cup.
