ABOUT YOYOKA SOMA

Drummer largely known by her mononymous stage name of "YOYOKA." She rose to fame after a video of her covering the song "Good Times Bad Times" by Led Zeppelin went viral online. The video garnered the praise of legendary musicians such as Dave Grohl , Ian Paice , and Robert Plant . She has appeared in advertisements for brands such as Nike, Moncler, and Uniqlo.

She began drumming at the age of two. By the age of six, she had released her debut album.

She was the youngest performer ever recorded at the Rising Sun Rock Festival, having performed there at the young age of eight. She was named on Newsweek Japan's list of 100 Japanese People that the World Respects.

She is the daughter of Akifumi and Rie Soma.

She has opened for Fall Out Boy and performed as a guest drummer for Cyndi Lauper . She has also appeared on the television talk show Ellen, which is hosted by Ellen DeGeneres .
