ABOUT Zé MARIA
Retired Brazilian soccer player and manager of Portuguesa de Desportos. He is popular for his versatile style, precise crosses and ability to play right back or right midfielder positions on the field.
He began his professional career in 1991 with the club Portuguesa. He was then chosen in the Bola de Prata Brazilian League team of the year in 1995, and signed by Flamengo in 1996.
He assisted his team during their bronze medal win in the 1996 Summer Olympics. He appeared in six matches.
He was born and raised in Brazil.
He is a popular soccer player similar to Bukayo Saka .
