ABOUT ZAC POONEN
Poonen has written over 30 books and serves as the senior pastor of the Christian Fellowship Centre in Bangalore, India. He has 6,000 followers on Twitter and 10,000 on Facebook.
He served as an Indian Naval Officer before turning his life toward serving God almost 60 years ago by becoming a teacher of the Bible and a pastor and religious author.
After resigning from the Navy in 1966 and converting to Christianity, Poonen became a street preacher, working alongside Brother Bakht Singh, the Christian evangelist who worked throughout India and parts of south Asia.
He and his wife Annie support themselves through "tent-making" and does not receive any salary for his services. He has four sons.
He's India's equivalent of a Ravi Zacharias or a Joel Osteen .
