Zach Potter

ABOUT ZACH POTTER

Retired NFL tight end that was originally signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He was later signed by the Houston Texans in February 2014. He has also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Chargers during his NFL career.

Prior to his NFL career, he played college football at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln . While at Nebraska, he was twice named an All-Big 12 honorable mention.

He played in 45 games during his six year NFL career. He caught 11 passes during his NFL career. Following his playing career, he went on to be a part of the Birmingham Stallions USFL organization. While working for the Stallions, he was the Director of Player Personnel and later the General Manager.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Omaha, Nebraska.

He played alongside Maurice Jones-Drew as a member of the Jaguars during the 2010 NFL season.
