Wrestler who rose to fame as Arizona State University's the school's first undefeated wrestler. He went 31-0 as a freshman in his first regular season.
He's from Bellflower, California and graduated from St. John Bosco high school.
He's also ASU's 11th national champion, a title he won after defeating Penn State in the 2018 NCAA championships in Cleveland.
His brother Anthony has also been a competitive wrestler for Arizona State University.
Fellow wrestler and ASU alum Anthony Robles took notice of Valencia's winning season and publicly praised him.
