Actress who became known for her role as Sandra Benes in Space: 1999, as well as an array of other performances in science fiction films and television shows.

She appeared on Doctor Who in 1964, her first real gig as an actress.

She was on Law & Order: UK in 2010.

She was born in Burma but she grew up in Singapore, Borneo, and England, among other places.

She rejoined the Doctor Who universe in 2009 to play a role in a two-part episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures, which starred Elisabeth Sladen .
