Zin Lim
ABOUT ZIN LIM
Painter who is best known for his abstract portraits and renderings in both charcoal, pastel, and oil.
He majored in industrial and environmental design at Hong-Ik university. Then in 2000, he moved to San Francisco, California to study 3-D Animation at the Academy of Art University. In 2006, he completed his MFA with distinction at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Upon graduating from the Academy of Art, he was hired to teach a variety of classes including drawing and painting at the Graduate School of Fine Arts and Illustration at the Academy of Art.
He was born in Seoul, South Korea before moving to Alameda, California.
As a graduate from the Academy of Art University, his fellow alumni include Lauren Conrad , Rick Baker , Raven-Symoné , and Kara Laricks .
