ABOUT ZOE THOROGOOD
Comic book artist and author. She was a winner of the Russ Manning Newcomer Award at a San Diego Comic Con. On her zoethorogood Instagram page, she has 150,000 followers who can see many of her comic book illustrations, her writing, and some photos from her life.
She studied video game art at De Montfort University in Leicester. She debuted in 2020 with a comic book called The Impending Blindness of Billie Scott, which she both wrote and drew the illustrations for.
She released It's Lonely at the Centre of the Earth, an autobiography in 2023. It was a major critical and commercial success for her and earned six Eisner Award nominations. One of her most popular posts was an animated reel detailing her experience with losing her brother. The clip garnered over 2 million views.
She is from Bradford, England. She grew up with a younger brother James who passed away in 2024.
She attended a convention organized in London by Image Comics where she got to meet Kieron Gillen .
