Zoran T. Popovski

ABOUT ZORAN T. POPOVSKI

Macedonian molecular biologist and genetic engineer who is known for his work in the field of animal science. He worked as a State Secretary in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia from 2002 to 2006.

He joined the Agricultural Sciences and Food Faculty at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in 1992.

He is known for his research on GMOs (genetically-modified organisms).

His family lived in the Macedonian city of Skopje at the time of his birth.

His scientific contemporary, Carol Greider , won a Nobel Prize for her work in molecular biology.
