ABOUT ZUCHU
Bongo flava and Afro-pop singer/songwriter known for her debut EP I am Zuchu. She received the Emerging Artist Award from the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) in 2020. She has accumulated more than 6 million followers on Instagram as a result of her pop fame.
She launched her YouTube channel in 2019.
She was awarded the Silver Play Button by YouTube. She became the first East African female artist to surpass 100,000 subscribers within a week.
She is the daughter of Khadija Kopa, a Tanzanian singer and songwriter who's recognized as one of the greatest Taarab musicians of all time.
She collaborated with Diamond Platnumz for two songs on her I am Zuchu debut EP.
